Xanterra reservation - I am confused!

I have made a booking for the Maswik Lodge and received a confirmation email with a reservation number. However the reservation status is ';non guaranteed';.





What does this mean in real terms? Have I got a room or not?? I%26#39;m starting to worry now as there was not much availability and I had to change my itinerary to get a room in the GCNP.





Can anyone reassure me?

Did you use a credit card to book? Sometimes hotels say not guaranteed if you do not book at least one night with a credit card.





Maybe email them?

They are open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Mountain time.

Hi:



I received my email from them and it states ';reserved'; under the status column in the upper center of page. I agree you may have to put a one night hold on a credit card. My credit card has already been charged for my deposit (March %26#39;08 visit). Call them #1-928-638-2631.




I believe that we received two e-mails with our reservation---one right away, that said ';non guaranteed';, and then a subsequent one (presumably when the credit card charge was approved) that said ';guaranteed';.





You should be able to check the status of your reservation on the Xanterra website, and ask it to ';re-send'; (by e-mail) a copy of the confirmation.
