Andreoli in Scottsdale is Outstanding!

We had lunch at a thorougly authentic Italian eatery yesterday on Pima and Shea Roads called ';ANDREOLI';....a few door down from a Frye%26#39;s grocery store (for a landmark to find it).

It was so authentic that the owner and staff speak fluent Italian (from Calabrese region of Italy), the TV only airs Italian news (in Italian) and the menu is unbelievable and made FRESH ON THE SPOT! Our entrees were perfect, hands down, PERFECT.

We are Italian-Americans and utterly perfectionist when it comes to dining at Italian restaurants. We give this dining spot a PERFECT rating.

You can also purchase the absolutely best salami, prosciutto and deli items from Italy. Hands down, it beats anything made in the U.S. (including Boar%26#39;s Head!). Other hard-to-find Italian food items are for sale as well (wine, pasta, anchovies, tomatoes, sea salt, candy, breads, beans, antipasti, etc.) ALL imported from Italy available for purchase.

ON TOP OF IT ALL: the anviance is delightful with old antique wooden table and chairs (AND NONE OF THEM MATCH, making it even more quaint). There is also a patio....

There was not enought seating for the lunch crowd when we went there.....this is a very popular restaurant and FOR GOOD REASON.

DO NOT MISS ANDREOLI in Scottsdale as either a native of the Valley or as a visitor. You will just love this place.

.......Bellavita, thanks so much for sharing your secret find!, We to will give it a go........spending a lot of time in Toronto, we have some of the best authenic Italian food, have only come accross one rest. in Scottsdale, in a neighbourhood that would compare.
