We%26#39;ll be in Phoenix for a conference for 3 days.
My husband will be busy during the day, so we%26#39;d like to do some sightseeing in the evenings.
Where should we plan to go?
During the day, I%26#39;d like to take my 14 year old somewhere. He is not really into museums or shopping. Any suggestions?
I do not know which hotel we are staying at. I am guessing it will be near the conference center.
We will probably rent a car for a few days.
When the conference is over, we%26#39;ll go to Sedona. The jeep tours sound like fun, and the suggestions I got here were helpful for that. Thanks!
What to do in/ around Phoenix?Hi,
Thank you for visiting our beautiful city, we appreciate your traveling.
Activities for you and your son in the Phoenix area during the daytime, really depend on when you are visiting and what interests you and your son have.
There%26#39;s plenty of things to do in Phoenix - hiking in our many mountain preserves in and around Phoenix, horseback riding, jeep tours into the desert, visit to the Phoenix Zoo or the Desert Botanical Gardens, visit to Tempe Town Lake and Mill Ave in Tempe, visit to Talliesen West - Frank Lloyd Wrights Western compound in Scottsdale, City tours, Apache Trail tours, and of course world class shopping in the many unique shopping areas.
Your trip to Sedona should include a stop at Montezuma Castle National Monument enroute to Sedona, a visit to the Chapel of the Holy Cross and of course a jeep tour with either Red Rock Jeeps or Pink Jeeps. There%26#39;s also many fine galleries and shops in uptown Sedona and Tlaquepaque. You will not lack things to do in Sedona either.
If you want more information I would be happy to assist with a PM.
