Places to eat on way to Grand Canyon?

We will be driving from Vegas to the Grand Canyon. Are there many places to stop to eat along the way or should we bring snacks for the road? Is it going to look like mostly desert?

You%26#39;ll see mostly desert. Get off I-40 at Seligman and stop at Delgadilos Sno Cap Drive In for a taste of old Rt66 and some fun food. Then get back on the interstate and hurry to the GCNP. Bring snacks in the car too though. If you can munch while you%26#39;re inside the park you%26#39;ll save lots of time

Always bring snacks and water when traveling in the southwest. Many times you have hours between places to stop.

From Vegas to Grand Canyon...Kingman AZ, Seligman AZ, Ashfork AZ, Williams AZ, Tusayan AZ. All have restaurants, gas stations and shops.

You will enjoy the drive, very different than NY!

Kingman or Williams will be your 2 best spots. I would stop at the walmart in Vegas or Kingman to get snacks on your way out here. It will take 5+ hrs to get to GC S rim depending on traffic over the bridge. I either bring my own or stop in Kingman when we stop for gas. Seligman is a little out of the way but an interesting spot. When leaving Vegas keep an eye out for big horn sheep we usually see them around the area of the dam. The dam is also worth stopping for a view.

You%26#39;ll certainly get your fill of desert scenery along the way, but there are some terrific views and as you get closer to canyon country the terrain gets more varied. Northern Arizona is very beautiful.

I second the recommendation to stop at the Sno Cap Drive In. Not a culinary gem, but a classic road stop and good greasy burgers. Lots of fun.

We usually take the old stretch of Route 66 that runs east from Kingman unless time is a factor. It%26#39;s a great drive and you can visit hokey old Grand Canyon Caverns.

We also like Rod%26#39;s Steak house in Williams, AZ.
