Definitely considering a four night stay in June for a special anniversary getaway. We%26#39;re looking for quiet, relaxing, if not slightly pampered experience. Sanctuary seems to fit the bill perfectly, but i am not sure which type of room will suit us best.
I%26#39;m a little confused why the Spa Casitas would be more than the Mountain Vista counterparts. Isn%26#39;t a view of the mountains/valley more enticing than courtyard views. Is it because the Spa rooms are more recently updated?
The resort website is not real clear either. It seems like the some spa suites offer an outdoor soaking tub, but not all. Not sure if this is enough of an upgrade to support the 30% premium to the Mountain suite. Anyway, I%26#39;d appreciate any additional thoughts on the pros/cons of the different rooms.
Sanctuary accomodations - need help deciding.I%26#39;ve never stayed there, but I did get to tour it when it opened. LOVELY place.
IMO, the spa casitas are way more romantic. I suggest you call the hotel and talk to someone there who can really give you the info your looking for.
I do recommend that you eat at Elements at Sanctuary. The food is amazing!
Sanctuary accomodations - need help deciding.........I%26#39;am the zinmans wife, never stayed at the resort, however the spa is a favorite indulgance, my opinion, and I have been to many its simply the best!
Part of the treatment was out at the pool, the views were like out of a movie set, surreal! Very quiet, relaxing and extremely pampered! As mentioned in the previous post, the restaurant Elements simply fabulous. If you there for 4 nights, another romantic evening with wonderful ambiance is Lons at the Hermosa, its an authentic hacienda, breath taking views, as for an outdoor table, you wont be disappointed. What I also love about this restaurant all the staff are educated about the wines, its in the near vicinity of the Sanctuary.
Have fun!
