Which trip to the grand canyon do u all recommend? The helicopter is supposed to be good.

You can do a helicopter flight above the GC from the Grand Canyon Airport at Tusayan just outside the park itself.

I agree with Redrox, drive to the South Rim, stay at least one-night at one of the lodges in the village area and take your helicopter flight from this location. You will find by spending the night you will be able to enjoy sun rise and sun set over the Canyon, which is well worth the time! Enjoy your trip!
Drive it! Although the helicopter tour may be good, having your own vehicle in the park gives you so many more opportunities. Staying overnight allows you to view sunset, sunrise, or both! Nothing beats being right in the park.
Agree with the posters above. DO NOT take a flight out of Las Vegas. They will only take you over the ';west Rim'; which is not nearly as spectactular as the main canyon. Many an international visitor has been snookered by this.
It would be accurate to say that almost all helicopter flights from LV go to Grand Canyon West, which is not the national park. However there are air tours to GCNP from LV. Scenic Airlines is a recommended provider.
