chinle to monument valley via gooseneck

Hi

Can anyone tell me what the drive would be like from Chinle to Monument Valley via the viewpoint at Gooseneck.We%26#39;ll probably be leaving Chinle about 2.30 pm and I wopndered how long the drive would be likely to take.

Thank you for visiting our beautiful part of the U.S. we appreciate your traveling!

The mileage from Chinle driving up Hwy #191 toward Bluff, UT the west on Hsy #160 to Hsy #261 then Hwy #316 to the Goosenecks of the San Juan. Then return to Mexican Hat, UT and to Monument Valley is 143 miles or about 2 1/2 to 3 hours depending on how much time you spend at the overlook of the Goosenecks. You should have time to do this drive and still get to Monument Valley before sunset. Enjoy your trip!
