Moderately priced Chinese Restaurant

We%26#39;re looking for a moderately priced Chinese restaurant while in Sedona. We do not like Japanese or Thai, nor do we like sushi. Would appreciate input from locals. We will be staying in VOC, but the restaurant doesn%26#39;t necessarily need to be located there.

Moderately priced Chinese Restaurant

Chinese food is not as popular here as in cities. I rarely have it other than wonton soup to go. There are two choices: Szechuan in Sedona west of the Y and Red Chopstick in the Village. Trip Advisor has reviews of Szechuan.

Moderately priced Chinese Restaurant

We go to Red Chop Stick, but I wouldn%26#39;t call it moderately priced. We prefer Thai food and use Dara Thai in VOC in the Bell Rock Plaza, same place as Red Chop Stick

Thanks for your replies. RedRox, so I am assuming that you are suggesting that the Red Chop Stick is more high end? Looked it up on the map and it%26#39;s right around the corner from where we are staying.

It%26#39;s not exactly high end, but it%26#39;s not a cheap Chinese place either. Dinners are $10-$20. Yes, you can walk there from Canyon Villas. But you can also walk to Dara Thai in the same plaza. Better choice IMO.

Szechuan in Sedona. The Red Chopstick is not very good. Both are priced the same. I don%26#39;t think there is any comparison, you%26#39;ll see.

Actually, I strongly disagree with the earlier poster. I think the Szechuan restaurant in West Sedona is one of the worst chinese restaurants I have ever eaten at, and I have traveled a lot. I actually live within walking distance of that restaurant and still will take the time to drive all the way to VOC to eat at Red Chopstick. I have tried many dishes at the Szechuan Restaurant and they are all terrible. The Red Chopstick is much, much better. And, the Tara Thai restaurant that is located in the same shopping center (Bell Rock Plaza) is very good, too.
