Hilton near the Phoenix Airport

We have Hilton Honor points that we would like to use for our last night in Phoenix. These points are honored at all Hilton brand hotels. I am not familiar with Phoenix so I am trying to decide is there a safer or preferrable area near the airport to look for a Hilton? Our flight leaves the next morning at 7:15 and we will have to turn a rental car in so we thought something relatively close the airport would best suit our needs. Thanks for any help!

Thanks for the reply but just to clarify, there are several Hiltons close to the airport. Is there one area around the airport better than the other?

There is only one Hilton Phoenix Airport. It is located in a business area south of the airport about a mile. The only other Hilton property close to the airport is Doubletree Suites on 44th St north of the airport.

We just did this a couple of weeks ago, we stayed at the new Hilton Gardens by the airport It is a nice place to stay and is five minutes from the airport. The staff there are very helpful.
