We are planning to visit the GC at the end of March for 3 days, we then have 3 days free before we need to return to Las Vegas.
Any suggestions for a family of 4 with 2 children aged 14 %26amp; 12
Thanks
Grand Canyon and beyond ?After your visit to GCNP I would leave via it%26#39;s east entrance. Make a stop in Cameron for food and shopping, drive us89 south and visit Wupatki and Sunset Crater Volcano NM. To Flagstaff and the drive to Sedona. Stay at least 2 nights and drive to Las Vegas from Sedona. You%26#39;ll be amazed by Sedona and it%26#39;s scenery.

Grand Canyon and beyond ?We loved Zion national park and wished we had stayed there longer than one night (Desert Pearl Inn at Springdale). That was summer though. Our children were 15 and 12 at the time.
Don%26#39;t forget to get up and see the sun rise at GC. Well worth it.
Sedona also looked nice but we just stopped off at the town briefly on our way to Phoenix.
Hi. I agree with Sedona, but I would have to add Zion too, even if it just for a day. It is ';close'; to Vegas. I would opt for in the park lodging at Zion lodge if you stay overnight. Springdale is o.k. too though. It depends on if you are coming back some day soon or if this is it for awhile. So much to see, so little time. You will love whatever you get to see.
I would leave those 3 days open, and do a weather check just before you go. If warm, go to Zion and Bryce, over the hill thru Ceder Breaks, and back to Vegas.
If still cold, do Sedona.
Cedar Breaks will be closed till mid may. It%26#39;s at a higher elevation than Bryce. And better to visit Bryce first, go to Zion and drive from Zion to Las Vegas.
