Willow Stream Spa at Fairmont vs. Spa at Camelback Inn

My friend and I are doing a girls weekend away at the end of April. We are staying in Phoenix but we%26#39;ll have a car and want to spend the day at a really nice spa. It looks like it%26#39;s between the Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont and the Spa at Camelback Inn. Has anyone visited both? Could you please compare them? We are likely to book one or two treatments but want to stay the day and enjoy the facilities so I am curious as to what other amenities they have that are included, including the pool, relaxation areas, etc and how they compare. Also we plan on cleaning up and going out to dinner as well and would like any restaurant recommendations nearby the spa- I%26#39;m a foodie so I%26#39;m looking for am amazing restaurant to end the day of pampering the body by pampering the palate. The more details, the better!

Willow Stream Spa at Fairmont vs. Spa at Camelback Inn

I have enjoyed the Camelback Inn Spa for years and would not think of going elsewhere, it is a classic experience, but I have heard good things about the Fairmont as well, so i do not think you will be disappointed. Camelback Inn offers a lovely pool with poolside food and bar service from the Sprouts Cafe in the spa, excellent food %26amp; service. You are correct to want to spend the day there, i usually get there at 9:00AM and don%26#39;t have my treatment until 2:30, enjoying the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, quiet room and a cocktail and lunch. First class restaurants near the Camelback Inn include: Lon%26#39;s at the Hermosa, T.Cooks at the Royal Palm, El Chorro Lodge and Elements at the Sanctuary.

.........haven%26#39;t done the Fairmont or the Camelback, however, I have been the the Sanctuary, its incredable, very zen.......the pool atop the mountain will take your breath away, also once your buffed, ';Elements'; is next door, its also amazing!

I have been to both spas and they are both excellent. Camelback is cheaper and very nice for the money. But, money aside, I do favor the Willow Stream Spa. The facilities are a little bit nicer and they offer free prickly pear lemonade (must try, very tasty) and snacks (muffins in the AM, cookies in the PM). Best time to go is during the cooler months (Feb, March, Oct, Nov). Some of the treatment rooms are by the waterfall and it is heavenly to have a message with the door slightly open. A cool breeze comes through and you can hear the waterfall. The Willow Stream Spa also has a little bit more of a private feeling than the Camelback. The pool is on the top deck away from any other traffic and that is nice.
