My wife and I spent a few days (1/12 %26amp; 1/13) at the Grand Canyon. It was our first trip. WOW! You have to see it to truly get an idea for the size and demension. I liked being there in the off season. It was very un-crowded. We had 1 look out to our selves for 1/2 hour. The snow only added another color to the picture. Make sure you go to Dessert View. It is totally different then what you see at GCNP. We stayed at Bright Angel in a rim view cabin...real impressive just opening the window and seeing the canyon. Don%26#39;t stay outside the park. It is worth staying in GCNP.
