ok, thanks for the info good stuff. A couple more questions:

1. I plan to rent a car from Phx airport, should I do that now? or wait until I get to the airport in phx?

2. Should I make reservations for the pink jeep tour now or wait until I arrive?

3. We want to eat dinner at a nice rest. not on valentines day too busy. Which is better?

I agree with dragonflylady%26#39;s answers for 1 and 2.

Regarding restaurants, try looking at the restaurant reviews on this forum.

The beauty of the Yavapai room is the views which you sill get none of unless you go to dinner right when they open.

I would suggest Shugrues which is the most popular among locals and fantastic views. RedRox knows about Barking Frog which is a little more trendy but no view.

Amara Resort is great too for the find cusine and views.

Dahl and Delucca is always good as well, no views but it is a very intimate and happening place.

None of the Jeep companies are very busy right now. The Superbowl has raised airline tickets to above $1,000. So January here here has been very slow. February is picking up though but not much.
