Has anyone taken the Adventure by Disney Southwest Tour? I am a single parent traveling with a 11 year old boy and was wondering if this was a good tour to get a good flavor of Sedona, Grand Canyon and Moab.

I have not taken this tour. It has an excellent itinerary, but then it%26#39;s Disney, and that%26#39;s what should be expected. Air fare might be high as you fly into Phoenix for which you should be able to get OK fares, but you fly out of Grand Junction CO which is a very small airport and probably not good fares back to Baltimore.
Can you drive? Fly into and out of Phoenix and drive yourself. You could do most things in the tour ... Sedona, side trips to native sites, GCNP, Page AZ for Colorado float trip, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley. Moab is nice but too far. You could do this in 6-8 days in Arizona. And it would cost a LOT less.

Thanks for the tips. I knew GrandJunction may not be good! But I believe there is a railroad tour, which I may take to Sante Fe and leave from there.
