I was interested in doing the helicopter ride, except we will be in the Grand Canyon without a car due to taking a train and will be staying at the Maswik Lodge. My question is how do we go about getting some type of transportation to get to the place where we can actually do the helicopter ride? IS it expensive? Which is the best ride or company to take? Any recommendations are helpful, as this will be our first time. Thanks in advance.

You will have to call for a taxi to take you out of the park, to the airport just south of Tusayan. Allow about 1/2 hour for rhe ride.
I%26#39;m not knocking the train, but not having a car at the park does create challenges and additional costs.
