Resort (ideally w/spa) for 3 women?

Is Enchantment Resort a very good option for a mother and two grown daughters (ages 30-60)? I just wasn%26#39;t sure if this resort is targeted more towards couples.

The other thing is that our budget is probably in the under $500 range per night, which puts us in a casita bedroom or studio. This means one of us would need to sleep on a rollaway or sofabed, which isn%26#39;t ideal . . .

This is supposed to a somewhat ';luxurious'; end to an active Arizona vacation. After a week of hiking, rafting, etc. we want a couple days to relax and be pampered.

Any other suggestions? Or maybe somewhere we can all get a proper bed within our budget?

Resort (ideally w/spa) for 3 women?

Just got back from a night at Enchantment Resort. Everything about the resort exceeded all expectations. It is a perfect place for you and your daughters. I was with my husband but at the spa I met several groups that were only women. One group said they met at the spa and now return every year together. Depending on what time of year you are traveling you may be able to get a one bedroom casita for under 500.00. The ';living room'; has a murphy bed that anyone would be happy to sleep in (not your ordinary sleeper sofa!) You could even get away with a casita with two queens. These casitas are big with private patios, big bathrooms, a seperate dressing area and walk-in closets. I told my husband I could stay in the one bedroom casita with 6 women for a girls trip and be very happy.

I live in Flagstaff and honestly can%26#39;t think of a better place in northern arizona to end any trip.

Just be aware that the spa prices for massages, etc are very expensive, i.e. $250 for a less than 1 hour message. Also remember that that Enchantment is remote. This time of year we have wet weather and remote area can be isolating due to flash floods etc. Check out Amara Resort, they are right in uptown and it%26#39;s not busy this time of year. Great food.

This is not a personal endorsement. They have not been very kind to my business because I%26#39;m not willing to pay 20%+ commissions to their concierces. It is my attempt to be neutral here.

We loved the Enchantment Resort, the spa was top notch and the massage was sublime and cost $140.00 for 50 minutes and I believe $220.00 for 80 minutes. We were there in August. We had a two room suite with a two queen sized bedroom and another room with a fireplace livingroom/kitchen with a pulldown murphy bed.Our two daughters 19 and 25 loved the spa and the ease of walking out and hiking directly from our rooms. I felt the spa was quite luxurious and loved the away from it all feeling of not being in the center of the populated town. Depending on the time of year you can get some great deals on the rooms...stay two/three nights get one free or the best deal was with our platinum amex when we recieved an upgraded room ,comp breakfast yum, a $75.00 gift shop credit and a 4 p.m. late check out. This was a great find for us,just for reference we have also visited the spas at the Montage in Laguna Niguel,Four Seasons in Palm Beach,Canyon Ranch and the Cranwell in Lenox, Massachusetts And Caneel Bay in St.John.The Mii Amo Spa at the Enchantment was the best spa experience of all.
