How far is the Grand Canyon %26amp; Sedona
Sedona is an easy day trip from Cave Creek....about an hour-90 minutes depending on traffic and weather. Grand Canyon is about twice that and that travel time is affected by snow too (like this week).

Really snow??? I guess I%26#39;m thinking that Az is pretty good by now is this something that is common at this time? Anything else I should know?
Thank you

People don%26#39;t realize that we have some high elevation places in AZ. While Phoenix is around 1000 ft elevation, Sedona is about 4500 ft, and Flagstaff is between 6500 and 7000 ft. Grand Canyon is similar I think. That is why some parts of AZ can get snow in the winter. I remember hearing once or twice over the years on the news that there was even a bit of snow falling in Cave Creek. Anyway, nice days are more the norm.
You might try to do an overnight in northern AZ. While you may not be able to get reservations inside GC Nat%26#39;l Park, the town of Tusayan is just outside the Grand Canyon and has several hotels. Or stay in Sedona for 2 nights and do a day trip to GC. Of course, all of AZ might be busy during Super Bowl time. Other visitors will no doubt do some sightseeing before and after the Super Bowl.
Have fun!
