Block Party

We%26#39;re going to be in town Super Bowl weekend and were thinking of going to the ';block party'; at Craftsman Court. Looks like it%26#39;s $40 just to get in. Is this any good or would there be a better area to go on Saturday night? We%26#39;re not into the club scene, looking for a more old school bar scene. Thanks.

Block Party

Super Bowl weekend is going to be hard getting into anything...there are a million parties at all the clubs at all different price levels...if you want old school bar (planned to seem like that), try Mickey%26#39;s Hangover...it%26#39;s in the downtown scene, but is more of a bar, not such a scene. If you want really old school (been around forever, low-key, lots of locals) down the street from all the clubs is the Coach House, a way funky place that%26#39;s been around forever..I think it opens at like 5 in the morning! It%26#39;s an institution...on Indian School Rd between Scottsdale Rd %26amp; 68th street. Also, TT Roadhouse, another old school bar. It%26#39;s got a great jukebox, if you like punk, but all types of people go there. It%26#39;s north down 68th Street around Thomas Rd.

Thanks for the info!
