We%26#39;re planning a trip to the grand canyon/sedona/flagstaff area the end of february for our one year wedding anniversary and just wanted a little local advise on where to stay in sedona..somewhere romantic but not to fancy (we%26#39;re snowboarders).
we want to go to the gc, the snowbowl (is this the best place for snowboarding?), the craters and then head over to bhc (my hometown)..am i missing any hot spots for adventurers?? my husband has never been to az before!
do we need to stay at the gc or can we see/do plenty on a day trip from sedona?
also can you reccommend any good food..we love natural/down to earth good for you food =)
and last (hopefully), where should we fly into from oregon..LV? Flagsatff?? does kingman have a big airport now??
thanks!!! ck
February Anniversary to GC, Sedona,BHCFly into LV or PHX. PHX is closer to Sedona by about 2 hours.
Have you looked any hotel reviews for Sedona? There%26#39;s so much to offer. Take a look and come back with specific questions about a few that appeal to you.
If you don%26#39;t already have a room booked for an overnight at GCNP, then plan to see it on a day trip.
Snowbowl is the obvious place to go snow boarding, but if there%26#39;s a fresh snowfall, you might find some free (but less spectacular) places in or around Flag.
Dining in Sedona, try Barking Frog Grille, Heartline Cafe, and Elote Cafe
