Best Western Apache Junction Inn

My family and I (4 total) stayed here this weekend. We are checking out today (January 21). The room was as advertised. Two queen beds that I guess somewhere maybe considered comfortable, but my poor back screams NO! Continental breakfast is definatly not deluxe, unless you like cold cereal. They do have waffles, but only two types/kinds of syrup; regular maple or diet maple. Syrups were in bottle sitting on the counter. At 7:00 am sat (January 18) the breakfast area had three bagels, five mini muffins, and a couple of pre-packages doughnuts.

There is no 24 hour desk clerk. Only one vending machine. I could not find any ice machines. I could not find and did not ask about microwaveable foods. I stayed here because it is close to family. The hotel is pretty well kept up, but it is a Best Western. In my opinion that means over priced and inflated descriptions. Better to go about 5-6 miles closer to Tempe.

I did read the reviews about this motel. Not only on TA but several other sites ie: Hotels.com, Travel.com, Orbitz.com etc. I did do my homework. The reviews were generally good. No one seemed to have a problem with this motel. Maybe I%26#39;m wrong, but I think when I pay $100+ a night and the website lists a ';deluxe breakfast';, I should have something more than a mini muffin. Oh yeah and by the way, aren%26#39;t forums the place for place reviews? Again, I may be wrong.
