Hi can anybody give me directions to the Raw Hide Western Town from Scottsdale. Is this a park or just an old town and is it worth a visit? Thanks
Raw Hide Western TownRaw Hide is a fake western town located at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino. It is neither a park or an old town. It is worth a visit for children.
Raw Hide Western TownDirections from Scottsdale depend very much on where in Scottsdale. Use Yahoo or Google maps to see route. The casino is located on WIld Horse Pass Rd. west of Interstate Highway 10.
Many thanks for your help
GMG:
As Bobbear stated, Rawhide is a fake western town attached to a steakhouse. We took our two small children there two years ago and they enjoyed it. The steakhouse was nice - family oriented. Live western music performed onstage, balloon artists and magicians. Steak, ribs, chicken are the primary menu choice. Afterwards or before you can walk the free replica - about a dozen bldgs - saloon with entertainment, candy store, souvenir store, etc. Rides for the kids cost tickets - camel ride, pony ride, train ride, stagecoach ride, and a couple of live shows. OK for an evening for the kids, but far from authentic. Affilated w/ a Native American Casino at a Sheraton Hotel/Resort.
