Can a person swim outside in March in Phoenix?

In reading about several of the good resorts in Phoenix, I notice that a lot of them have really nice swimming pools. We may be taking a trip to Phoenix in late March.

My question is: Is it warm enough in Phoenix in March to swim in resort%26#39;s outdoor swimming pools?

What do you think is warm enough? Most of us who live here prefer to wait until the outside temps get back up into the 80s or higher. But it%26#39;s not unusual to see folks from cold country get in the water just because it%26#39;s there and the sun is shining.

Use your own judgement. But also note that many pools will be unattended by lifeguards or safety personel. You%26#39;ll be on your own.

Also, the pools at the ';good resorts'; around town are all heated. Once you%26#39;re in the water it%26#39;s pretty comfortable. If they weren%26#39;t heated, nobody would be swimming.

We went swimming in our condo%26#39;s heated pool in December just so we could tell folks back east that we did...but we%26#39;ll go again as soon as the air temp is above 70! So, sure you can swim in March!
