Phoenician vs Fairmont Princess (with kids)

Hi-

I%26#39;ll be visiting Scottsdale this summer with my 3 kids (11-13 yrs) and am wondering which hotel everyone thinks would be better for them as far as the pools and other kid activities.

Also, is the Phoenician in a better location than the Fairmont Princess? I know that the Princess is in North Scottsdale and I don%26#39;t want to drive to far to restaurants, etc.

You really can%26#39;t miss with either one. They are both huge, with all the activities you would need to keep busy. Both have great pools..spas if you can get away...and both are close to many dining and shopping options. In this case, either hotel will satisfy your needs. I have stayed at both...got married at the Princess, and feel comfortable telling you that either is great!

I agree that you wont be disappointed with either decision but I think there is more for kids to do at the Princess with regards to activitys ans all plus its more geared towars kids. the spa at Fairmont is better than Phoenician b/c its a willowstraem spa. personally as an adult lik The Phoenician better ...the room s are nicer there and its more of an elegant and luxurious resort but like th eother post said they are both great places.
