Best Location - Fairmont or Four Seasons?

My husband and I often stay at the Four Seasons when we travel but I%26#39;m concerned that the one in Scottsdale may be too out of the way from all of the restaurants and shopping. Can anyone tell me if the Four Seasons or the Fairmont is best in terms of location?

The fairmont Princess is much more centrally located in Scottsdale. The Four Seasons is further out where there is newer growth, but options will be somewhat limited.

I agree with RedRox. I think the accommodations would be better at FS, but you%26#39;ll do an aweful lot of driving if you are in far north Scottsdale. Lots to do around the Princess within a 10 minute drive.

The Princess is in north Scottsdale, also, but is about 1/2 mile from lots of shopping and restaurants. Four Seasons is not close to anything.

With the recent renovations you will definately prefer everything about FS over the Princess. One of the aspects I enjoy more is the more intimate size of FS which allows for more personal service. True FS is not in the middle of things, but over the last three years that we have vactioned there we have never felt like it was a chore to get to dining, shopping, etc. Just to make sure I wasn%26#39;t confused, I checked on Mapquest and it is only 18 minutes from FS to the Princess. So that gives you something to go on. Plus FS location IS closer to Cave Creek and the additional selection of restaurants they have.

Chose the Four Seasons. Thanks for your help.

Good choice, enjoy yourself. Check into the activities they offer: Meet the Pastry chef, stargazing, salsa %26amp; margarita making demonstration, all are a great time.

Completely changed my mind and now it%26#39;s the Sanctuary at Camelback. Thanks for your help, though.

You%26#39;ll love it. Very well located and oh so serene. Enjoy!
