Extended Stay Deluxe, which one?

Does anyone have any thoughts about which is the best area to stay in this chain....for convenience to highways and local attractions, nicest area, least congestion, etc.?

They%26#39;re all in the same price range.

Midtown, Biltmore or Scottsdale?

Thanks.

Extended Stay Deluxe, which one?

What do you want to do while you%26#39;re in PHX? How long will you be visiting?

Expect traffic everywhere. It%26#39;s a big city and nobody lives where they work, so everyone drives. Public transportation is almost nonexistant.

Scottsdale would be the hippest area IMHO, but it all depends on where you plan to go once you%26#39;re here.

Extended Stay Deluxe, which one?

2 nights and 3 days, just to explore a bit with my girlfriend, who%26#39;s never visited.

I%26#39;d probably agree on Scottsdale, it%26#39;s pretty nice there.

I%26#39;ve stayed at the Midtown location twice. It%26#39;s a pretty nice place and convenient to restaurants and a bit of shopping. The neighborhood isn%26#39;t bad as such, but it%26#39;s pretty dead at night. You%26#39;re more convenient to Downtown though and don%26#39;t have to use the freeway system for the most part.

Biltmore is the best location though. It%26#39;s behind the Colonnade and very close to the upscale Biltmore shopping.

the one in Tempe is ok, was on Baseline, but there is nothing to see there. Actually, in PHX, you have to drive to most places.

Since there%26#39;s basically nothing downtown, I wouldn%26#39;t pick the midtown location. The one called Biltmore is really not that close to Biltmore and sits next to the 51 Frwy north of Camelback. I have stayed at the Scottsdale ESD, and it is in a quiet area near Shea Blvd and Scottsdale Rd close to lots of restaurants and about 15 min from Old Town Scottsdale. It has a nice outdoor pool area with hot tub and garden. The attractions in Phoenix are quite scattered, so if that matters, you need to figure out what you want to see and then pick a location.

If Scottsdale is your choice for a suite-type room, check out Pima Inn and Suites on this site for reviews, rates during the summer are less than $100.

I got the Extended Stay Biltmore in early April on Hotwire...If I don%26#39;t get a car, what are my options for the area?

I was thinking to rent a bike. Where are some good bike riding areas (not dirt bike trails, I prefer paved paths).
