We are 2 middle age women considering Arizona as a vacation spot for end Feb or March. We are looking for sun, warmth, relaxation and shopping. Any suggestions on the best city to locate ourselves. Also will most of the resorts have indoor pools? thanks for any advice.

Most resorts have outdoor pools especially in Phx. I would look into staying in Scottsdale or Old Town Scottsdale great for food and shopping. That is also prime season in Phx so you will be paying more for the hotel.

Tucson is also a great place to visit, not as busy as the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Visit the Arizona/Sonoran Musuem, Saquaro Nat Park and enjoy the desert in early spring!
