Grand Canyon in February?

Hi All,

We are going to AZ in the second week of February 08. We initially wanted to check out the Grand Canyon, but I hear it%26#39;s winter time there...I forgot it got cold there. It looks like we will have to stick with Sedona.

My husband and I have been to AZ before, but our friend has never been. As a matter of fact he has never been on an airplane. So, any suggestions would be helpful.

We%26#39;ll probably go to Sedona, Tombstone...

Thanks for any suggestions!

Grand Canyon in February?

Daytime at the Grand Canyon at that time temps would be upper 40%26#39;s on average. Cool but not too cold. Weather varies and is not predictable. Could be freezing. Could be 60 and sunny. Sedona is going to be about 60 on average. So don%26#39;t rule out GCNP quite yet. Check the weather closer to when you are going to be here. If you have never been to GCNP, it%26#39;s worth putting on warm clothes in February.

BTW, Tombstone is 300 miles and about 5 hours from Sedona.

Thanks for the info.

We are staying in the Green Valley area and thought we%26#39;de spend a couple/few days up in the Sedona, Grand Canyon area.

We%26#39;ll wait until we get there and keep an eye on the weather up there. Thanks!
