After spending 2 days at the south rim, driving to see Bryce/Zion. Looking for a town/hotel to stay before doing Bryce and Zion. Thanks

S Rim drive to Bryce/Zion Lodging suggestion

Kanab, Utah is a nice little town. We have stayed there several time when visiting Zion and Bryce. It is much closer to Zion and a bit longer, but nice drive to Bryce. There are several decent restaurants there too.

Don%26#39;t know what your plans are for visiting the parks but you also have the option of staying in Springdell on the other side of Zion. This is a very nice little town with a lot of very good lodging.

By Bryce, Ruby%26#39;s Inn is the largest and most convenient but gets mixed reviews. It%26#39;s a huge place and has restaurants, gift shops, etc. There are some other smaller places around too.
