We are planning to go in Feb 08. Any suggestions on things to see and do. Golf? Inexpensive restaurants. Any comments welcome!

My favorite golf course in the area is WeKoPa in Fountain Hills. It%26#39;s out by the McDowell Casino which is about 5 minutes from downtown Fountain Hills. You can get a good steak at Desert Canyon Golf Club and great lunches at Eagle Mountain Golf Club. There is not a huge selection of restaurants in Fountain Hills, we usually drive down to Scottsdale which takes about 15 minutes. The Great Fair in Fountain Hills will be Feb 22-24 this year.

If you are in Chandler, you have to check out the restaurants in downtown Chandler. 98 Wine Bar is great, but a little pricey. El Zocolo is an awesome Mexican restaurant with a great atmosphere. La Stalla is yummy Italian. Kokepelli Winery is great place to try local wine and buy a bottle.

If you are interested in staying in Fountain Hills check out the Copperwynd Resort. It%26#39;s really beautiful and their onsite restuarant is great! They also have a spa. Check their website - www.copperwynd.com. I also have couple of pictures posted in my profile.

If you are at all interested in art/architecture, I would recommend a visit to Taliesin in Scottsdale. Taliesin was Frank Lloyd Wright%26#39;s winter home and school. It%26#39;s really fun to visit and they affer great tours.

Another nice golf course in FH is Sunridge Canyon.
