Is Sonoran Desert museum mainly outdoors or inside?

Looks like we might get a couple of rainy days this week for our visit and wondering if this is mainly an outdoor activity or inside. Thanks!

Almost solely outdoors with the exception of a couple of areas.

When it rains in Tucson, it typically only rains for a few minutes to an hour, then eases up back to gray. All-day rains are rare, but they do occur. Just keep a fluid schedule.

Thanks for the info...like your pun on ';keeping our schedule fluid!'; We have lots of outdoor activities that we would like to experience so hopefully we will get a break and the rain will be minimal, if any.

We lived in Tucson for years and don%26#39;t think we ever had to cancel anything because of a rain out. If you can also try to visit Kartchner (sp?) caves. They are new and beautiful. Probably need to make reservations ahead of time. RON

What part of Tucson are the caves closest to?

christyv - It%26#39;s best to start your own thread to ask questions. Kartchner Caverns are about 40 miles southeast of Tucson near Benson AZ. You can find several sites with good info by doing an internet search for ';kartchner caverns.';
