Monument Valley

Hi, and welcome to the forum

It app. is a 7 hours drive from LV-MV but you probably already knew. Also many great sites along the route. Have you already been to Grand Canyon NP south rim (north rim will be closed in march)?

Please give us some info re your route MV to New York. How much time do you have? There are many options and many places to visit.

rmort,

You can%26#39;t visit the south without a visit to

Savannah, GA. Go to www.savannahvisit.com and

www.savannahchamber.com. Also, google images for

Savannah %26amp; see how fantastic a city it is.

Have a great trip!

May change your Kayenta night to the San Juan Inn, another 20 miles north, but much sweeter !

Can%26#39;t see monuments from Kayenta anyway, only from the trading post and campgrounds.

If you are hiking, check out Navajo NM, and Betatakin.

since you are not getting south, I hope the weather cooperates. Add Arches NP, The Maze, and make sure to do Zion and Bryce on the way across.

If it ever stops snowing, I would make sure to add Mesa Verde, and the great kiva in Aztec.
