Plz let us know if the following plan is a good one for GC and LV for the Feb long-weekend.
Fri - Reach LV late in the night
Sat - Morning 8:00 AM - Go to Marriage Bureau to get marriage licence and get married in the Marriage Commissioner office. I am hoping this should get over max by 10:00 AM. We%26#39;ve some constraints of getting married only this day. So we couldn%26#39;t postpone it.
11:00 AM - Start to Grand Canyon. Hoping to reach there by 5:00 PM and see the sunset(current sunset time is 6:10 PM). We don%26#39;t know how much time we can spend in GC after sunset. (I%26#39;ve a back problem and so we%26#39;re not just planning for accessible view-points %26amp; photos).
8:00 PM - Back to hotel in Tosiyan village near GC.
Sun - Morning - Get up early and reach GC again by 6:00 AM to watch the sunrise.
9:00 - 10:00 AM - Start back to LV and make scenic stops if required. We r not including Hoover Dam.
5:00 PM - Reach LV and enjoy the night-life on the strip (shows, casinos, etc.) till late night.
Mon- Again enjoy the daytime in LV till we go to the airport at 8:00 PM to catch the flight.
I am a bit skeptical for the GC plan b%26#39;coz of the winter. I am welcome to any suggestions for change except for the marriage on Saturday morning. We%26#39;ve booked the hotels,so we%26#39;ve to be in GC on Sat-night also.
Need help in planning Grand Canyon - LV trip
My suggestion would be to spend more time at GCNP on Sunday than just 3 or 4 hours. If you leave around noon, and just drive back (there%26#39;s not much in the way of scenic stops), you can still be back in LV around 5 pm.

Thanks for the info bobbear43. We may spend a few more hours on Sunday. I%26#39;m just unsure whether we%26#39;ll be able to make it for the sunset on Sat. Also how much time can we spend in GC after sunset. We r more interested in enjoying the views and take some nice photos.
